For Judy O’Connor, caregiving isn’t just a profession it’s a calling that has defined her life. Whether as a nanny, Certified Nursing Assistant, nurse, or training coordinator, Judy has devoted every chapter of her career to lifting others up with compassion, grace, and tireless dedication. Her journey through human services, nursing homes, hospitals, and home health care agencies is a testament to her belief that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and kindness.
Before retiring, Judy served as the Training Coordinator for Home Instead Senior Care, where she led continuing education and peer support programs to enhance the skills and confidence of those on the front lines of care. She has not only been a caregiver but a teacher—mentoring countless others and inspiring them to lead with empathy and integrity.
Judy’s love for her family is at the heart of everything she does. She knows that actions speak louder than words—and Judy shows up. She is steady, present, and dependable. Whether supporting a neighbor, a client, or a loved one, she can always be counted on to follow through, to listen, and to lend a hand without hesitation.
A quiet force behind the scenes, Judy has also been a steadfast volunteer, always looking for ways to serve her community and advocate for those whose voices often go unheard. Over the years, she has worked alongside Executive Director David Hedison, helping to bring affordable housing solutions to life across Massachusetts. She speaks with deep respect and appreciation for his commitment, perseverance, and care in making meaningful change possible.
Judy’s legacy is one of service, strength, and heart—a life lived not in words, but in actions that have touched countless lives.
